Q1 Can anyone apply for the Chargeback Protection?

A1 Merchants (individual or corporation) operating an online site are applicable.

Q2 What is the expense structure for the Chargeback Protection?

A2 You can choose from a monthly based fix pricing (with transaction limit) or a per-transaction charge.

Q3 Do you do a screening of the website?

A3 Yes. We will be checking to see if the website corresponds to the merchant agreement.

Q4 After the contract, when can we start?

A4 You can start as early as the next business day.

Q5 Do you handle all credit card brands?

A5 Yes and other online payment methods.

Q6 Do you guarantee chargebacks?

A6 We only guarantee chargebacks for transactions going through our fraud detection system and based on its result.

Q7 How do we pay for the service fee?

A7 An invoice will be sent out at the end of every month which is to be paid by the end of the following month.

Q8 When do you NOT guarantee chargebacks?

A8 Cases due to merchant error and cases due to violation of the contract.

Q9 Do you have a basic contract period?

A9 Yes. It is a 1 year automatic renewal contract.

Q10 Can you cancel contract midway?

A10 Yes, but we will follow procedure based on eDefenders' Terms of Use.

Q11 What are the procedures I have to take when a chargeback occurs?

A11 You will fill out our application chargeback form and submit it to us.

Q12 When will the guaranteed chargebacks be paid?

A12 We will review the application chargeback form by the end of the month. If there is no problem, it will be paid to your designated bank account by the end of the following month.
